Little Legends main goal is to make playing sport and exercising fun. If we can give children the confidence to play games in the playground, then making friends and feeling comfortable in the classroom will be a more enjoyable experience.

Since 2004 Little Legends has been helping children of all abilities from all over Sydney enjoy the benefits of being active. We concentrate on teaching correct technique, fair play and encourage friends and family to be involved which in return keeps everyone happy, fit and healthy.

My family has known Terry for over 6 years, not only having watched him playing 1st grade rugby for Gordon, but his devotion to teaching my 3 children various sports. My 11, 8 and 6 year olds attended Little Legends before they started school and loved it. It was so appealing to them because it introduced a variety of sports, different skills and an appreciation of teamwork that you can only gain by participating. Little Legends also helped prepare them for school by teaching them to follow instructions and to be part of a team. It also improved their co-ordination and their concentration and through Little Legends they made some great friends.

Terry has also coached both my boys in their rugby teams and my daughter in basketball. They have also all participated in the lunchtime Sports Club that Little Legends runs at their school, St Thomas. Both of them describe it as “their favourite” time of the week. My eldest has started doing some rugby specific training sessions with Terry who takes a small group of boys once a week for 45 minutes and does some intense training with them. In particular he focuses on their technique and skills under fatigue and pressure. This has improved the boys athleticism in a short space of time.

I could not recommend Terry and his skills higher than by entrusting him to coach, train and mentor my children in their development whilst also making it a fun and enjoyable experience for them.

Over the last 5 years my 3 children have participated in the rugby and multisport camps, had 2 birthday parties, and my youngest has attended Kinder Sports for 2 1/2 years.

The programs are so well run with the perfect blend of skill, fun and good sportsmanship. My boys finish all camps with an increase awareness of their strengths, where and how they can improve, and the importance of being a good team member and having a go. The staff are fantastic with the children.

The birthday parties were a great success, everyone had so much fun and I was able to enjoy the hassle free parties. Emily has loved Kinder Sports, the skills she has learnt each week both sporting and social will assist with her transition to school next year. There are always big sighs and a bit of a mope around on Thursday mornings now that she is in big school. I can highly recommend all Little Legend programs.

I am the Principal of St. Thomas Catholic Primary School, Willoughby. An important component of our student well-being approach at St Thomas is our Lunch Clubs Program. Little Legends a company owned and operated by Terry Preston has provided Sports Club activities four days per week at lunchtime for our school for four years now.

Each Sport Club is geared to a grade level, ensuring maximum involvement, fun and success for all participants. When Terry arrives at school the children all cheer regardless of whether or not they have sports club that day. It is clear from watching the sessions while I am on duty that Terry is passionate about what he does and loves helping children find success with physical pursuits.

Terry not only runs these interesting activities for our school but he attends sports carnivals and gala days helping out wherever he can.

Until recently my only contact with Little Legends had been through my school but a short time ago my grandson attended a Little Legends birthday party. He came home bubbling with excitement about how good the party was. Not only did he have a great time but he had worn himself out playing physical games.

Terry Preston is a young man of great integrity and I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
